Ms Hope has over 27 years extensive experience and expertise in Telecommunications and Broadcasting, satellite operations, News Gathering (SNG) equipment and signal distribution. She served as ICASA Councillor 2000 – 2004 she was involved in regulatory and licensing environment. She served on numerous technical committees as a chairperson. Ms Hope was a member of the adjudication panel that oversaw the licensing of the fixed line Second National Operator (SNO) with a 30 percent BEE stake, as well as the awarding of the 19 percent BEE stake. She was also a member of the ICASA panel involved in the third cellular (Cell C) licensing process and the awarding of its licence.
