Julia Hope

is the founder and chairperson of MZCB. She holds a master’s degree in telecommunications and electronics from Moscow Technical University of Communications Technology and Informatics. She also has a Diploma in Telecommunications, Broadcasting and Electronics obtained from Rostov on Don Polytechnic. Ms Hope has over 27 years extensive experience and expertise in Telecommunications and Broadcasting, satellite operations, News Gathering (SNG) equipment and signal distribution. She served as ICASA Councillor 2000 – 2004 she was involved in regulatory and licensing environment. She served on numerous technical committees as a chairperson. Ms Hope was a member of the adjudication panel that oversaw the licensing of the fixed line Second National Operator (SNO) with a 30 percent BEE stake, as well as the awarding of the 19 percent BEE stake. She was also a member of the ICASA panel involved in the third cellular (Cell C) licensing process and the awarding of its licence.

She also served as Chairperson and/or Deputy Chairperson on the TRASA Committee’s (Telecommunications Regulators Association of Southern Africa). From 2009 – 2012 Ms Hope served as Non-Executive Director at Telkom board. In 2010 – 2011 Ms Hope served on the Digital Dzonga Advisory Council.  From 2007 – 2008 Ms Hope served as a Deputy Chairperson and Chairperson in East Rand Stereo. In 2009 She served as a member of the Ministerial Task Team which developed a turnaround and funding strategy for the SABC and Sentech. In 2012, she developed the National Spectrum Audit between 500 MHZ and 1000 MHz for the Department of Communications. BSc Degree (Honours) University of the Witwatersrand, Faculty of Science certificate of first class in Computational & Applied Mathematics, Certificate in Programme Investment analysis and portfolio management (UNISA), Certificate in Financial Markets and Instruments (Full Value Financial Services), Nedbank Graduate Development Programme (GIBS) and a Certificate in Data Science with Python. She has extensive experience in banking across the global markets, investment banking and retail banking. Vast product knowledge spanning quantitative modelling and analytics, market risk, model risk, portfolio optimisation, portfolio risk management, pricing, valuations, hedging strategies and database management encompassed with numerous projects. She also has extensive system expertise in trading tools and platforms, system enablement, programme management and data science.  She has done numerous courses in banking. In 2010 she served as a Quantitative Analyst at Nedbank CIB. In 2016 Ms Mlalazi served in Nedbank Retail as a Quantitative Analyst – Loyalty and Rewards focusing in linking strategies and evidence-based analysis through randomised controlled trials in building a human society that supports individual financial well-being.

BSc Electrical Engineering obtained from the University of Cape Town.

Mr Mathebula has over fifteen years’ professional experience. He has worked with business executives, creating business strategies. He has strong background in information technology, with first-hand knowledge of research, business analysis, product development and contract negotiation. He also has over ten years of experience in programming. 2015 -2016 Mr Mathebula was a Managing Director Waldomate Pty Ltd. In 2012 – 2014 Mr Mathebula was appointed as a Project Manager for Hope LaFleur Communications Networks for the National Spectrum Audit between 500 MHZ and 1000 MHz. He was responsible for project management and completion of project delivery items of deliverable validation and project risk management. In 2011 Mr Mathebula was a Technology Consultant for the Next Generation Technologies (NGT) Pty Ltd. In 2010 he worked for Technology Consultant, Bacumi Telecommunications. In 2000 -2001 Mr Mathebula was appointed as a FirstRand eBucks Senior developer. He was part of the team that started FirstRand eBucks and was responsible for mobile middleware architecture, built, and implemented a new technology platform to support this effort. This resulted in a world-class mobile banking application. Mr Mathebula has worked for a number of technology companies and has a vast experience and expertise in Electrical Engineering and ICT

He also completed a Senior Management Programme at Stellenbosch Business School.  Herbert has a certificate in Marketing Management, Project Management and Finance For non-Financial Manager obtained in Wits Business School. He also did Management Programme in Petroleum Industry and Economics. Basics in Financial Management, Corporate Governance and Business Ethics and Pricing for Competitive Advantage and Customer Service. He has extensive expertise and experience in distribution, sales and marketing management.

MSc Degree in structural engineering (Peoples Friendship University of Russia).  She completed a Post Graduate Diploma in urban engineering at Southbank University in London. Uhuru is highly qualified and has extensive expertise and experience in structural engineering, human settlement environment and agriculture. She worked for Murray and Roberts, Bigen Africa Consulting, the National Department of Human Settlements and for the City of Johannesburg. In 2013 She established Agriculture Cooperative which won the North West Female Farmer Award in 2014 She is also a founder and managing director of Moringa Projects and presently she is processes moringa products.

Associate of Applied Science (North West University), President of the Young Women Christian Association of South Africa. In 2004 Ms Manzana worked as an Assistant Manager Department of Health in Welkom. In 1996 she worked as a Maternal Health Programme Manager. In 1983 Ms Manzana was a lecturer in Midwifery at the Department of Health in Botswana. Ms Manzana is a member of the Catholic Women’s League where she served as a Secretary for eight years. She is currently a New correspondent for Women’s league. She has the expertise and extensive experience in health management

Avionics Engineering Diploma Obtained from both Ethiopian Airline and Oxford Air Training School and holder of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) type II Aviation Licence, Diploma in Project Management from the University of Pretoria, Senior Management from Pretoria Tech and Certificate Aircraft Maintenance at TSC, Florida USA. He has a certificate in Business Management from International Centre Organisation for Management (ICOM), Surrey UK. Victor has done a number of courses in negotiations and Conflict Management some in the Netherlands Institute of International Negotiations (SOAR) He has extensive expertise and experience in business and project management including diplomacy.

Ms Chandiyamba has 20 years administrative and project management experience in both public and private sector. She has done business leadership and management courses in Stellenbosch University and Wits Digital School. In 2005 to 2009 Ms Chandiyamba worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Regional Service Centre as a Project

Administrator. In 2010 – 2014 she worked for the Department of Science and Technology as an  Office Manager. She also worked for Drake and Scull Facilities Management and Nestle South Africa and currently she is working for Stanlib as a Business Manager.

Diploma in Piggery obtained from SIUSAG Switzerland. She has experience in piggery farming techniques in pig production industry management and prevention of diseases and pig health management. Ms Raber has an extensive knowledge in cold meat processing, fresh processed meat products and meat processing hygiene. Ms Raber has deep understanding of pig biology including breeding and selection, feeding, diseases, boar management and fattening pigs.

She has good understanding of piggery production and meat processing. She is presently studying German and Italian languages at Alph School Intensive Course in Zurich.

Montlafi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Vamont GmbH registered company in which was Switzerland in 2015.Vamont GmbH is a commodity trader which operations in logistics, petroleum, manganese, chrome, and coal products.

In 2020 I was elected by Swiss woman is elected as the president of the global business circle.Through this, they were able to win the JFD Euromillion with the assistance of Mzcb members the previous year.

Chairperson of Unque Biometrics Solutions, registered as a company as SA needs biometrics, is currently working with Botswana, Saladanah, and Langabaan for an IPP powerplant.

possesses a BTEC Higher National Diploma and Marketing from the CTI Educational Group Randburg Campus. In 2015 Ms Langa obtained a certificate in Animal Production from Baynesfield Academy. In 2016 she obtained another certificate from Batho Pele in Animal Production. In 2017 Ms Langa enrolled at the Innovation Hub Coachlab Bio Entrepreneurship Programme. She also obtained a certificate in maize production from Grain In 2015 Ms Langa established a Pig Farming and Meat Processing and have done a  number of courses in mixed farming including meat processing. Ms Langa is currently mentoring 3rd year students from Tshwane University of Technology and Tompi Seleke

Ms Ndlovu has managed a number of businesses in the beauty industry. Ms Ndlovu was also responsible for providing consultancy service to a number of highly recognised businesses in the beauty industry. She assisted with the development of marketing strategies and advised businesses on profitable market segments. She also managed more than thirty employees and she is exceptionally excellent in marketing. She is the owner and the Chief Executive Officer of Kaekapakae Trading

Ms Ballou did a number of short courses at Fast Shipping such as Statistical purposes at import and export, managing the shipment, insurance, customs and documentation clearance and other logistical activities. Ms Ballou also studied Customs declaration which lists the details of goods imported or exported. In 2001 – 2008 Ms Ballou was appointed as a Warehouse Manager by Corner Delicatessen. Ms Ballou has experience in simple meat processing under basic conditions. She also has experience and expertise in national and international flights food and beverage preparation

Thuto Mashigo

He has worked as a team leader with Finite Insurance Administrators for several years, thus he has experience in the insurance sector. He also worked as a team leader at the PMI Management Institute. He has experience managing several community projects, including the family fun day project at Mzansi Wethu Cooperative, which he organised and assisted with managing. He is currently employed at Roodepoort Primary School as an Admin assistant.

Winston Sebopela

Bachelor of Administration obtained from the University of North West in 2000, majors in Public Admin, Industrial Psychology & International Relations. He possesses honors in Human Resource Management. Majors in training and development, collective bargaining and conflict management, carrier psychology and research project also obtained from the University of North West

He also possesses a Diploma Computer Skills obtained at Prestige Business College. He has several certificates in short courses, in National Occupational Safety of South Africa, (NOSA. AIDS awareness campaign in obtained in 1998, Rural Development Programme updates, Report and Business Writing Skill, Budget Analysis PFMA and MFMA analysis. In 2017, Winston did the Project Management at Regenesys Business School including Communication and Presentation Skills. 2019 completed a course in Financial Management for Non-Financial Managers passed with distinction.

Winston served as a Leader of the Tiger’s Tennis Club (TTC) in Mmabatho from 1987 to 1998. a participant in Manpower’s Student Representative Council (SRC). From 2002 and 2003, he founded and oversaw the department of Social Services, Arts, Culture, and Sport’s Recruitment Call Centre. From December 2006 to the present, he served as an executive member of Lifeline Mafikeng senior practitioner in the Unit – Public Participation, Unit North West Province Legislature. In addition, he served as the North West Tennis Club’s coach and an executive member of the Public Participation and Communications Forum from January 2012 until  2022. He also served as the Mafikeng Primary (Secretary) SGB Member 2019. Served as an SGB member in Mafikeng High School from 2022 to date.
